Tirol, drunken bulls and colds
Why hello everyone,
sorry its been so long. have had a cold and couldnt be bothered, in fact my sinus' were so blocked that my eyes were swollen and sore, hence I didnt feel like staring into a computer screen.
Anyway, skiing.
So arrived at 11.30pm in Tirol having driven through Germany, (which really excitied me cos i was in a different country, lame though, only drove through for 20mins!, felt like i was on an international holiday tho)
Stayed in a really nice house with about 10 other family friends. Martin and I had our own room with a double bed and a balcony which was nice.
To the skiing, first day went up, the bloody learners slope is on like a 90 degree angle. Martin left me after 5min, so i ended up sitting outside the cafe for an hour before his dad showed up. We went down a couple of time with me standing behind him, then just like that I could do it. Went home feeling really great, like I had achieved someting and really looking forward to the next day.
So the next day go to another slope, really big and packed. went down four times, fell over three times, kept getting caught in the powder, and really pissy with all these five year old expertly passing me. it was only meant to be a break, i never skiied again!!
Weather turned shit, Martin and I spent the next five days at the house watching the Olympics!
The house was so dusty martin had to wear ski googles otherwise the dust made tears run down his face, so at least it kinda gave the impression of skiing!
So that was the holiday, was nice though, got to finish my book and play board games.
The day after we got back was Martins hockey teams end of session party. Their fan club the Drunken bulls orgainised it and i had to help out.
It was ok, kinda quiet though, ended up leaving with Martin, Noti, Niki and Stefan after Niki mangaged to break a glow stick and squirt the liquid in her eye, owww! i was scared she would be blind in the morning. Had a good night tho.
Other than that not to much is up.
